How many times must Michael Vick repent, be penitent, do penance, time and community service for your liking?

Have you no mercy, no grace, nor compassion for Michael Vick? Americans hunt, fish, and step on ants every single day in this country. To say on national television, that Michael Vick needed to be executed for his dog fighting involvement is over the top, absurd, preposterous, insane, outlandish, and very hate filled.

How can you say in the same breath that “I am a Christian, I've made mistakes,and I believe in second chances”. You obviously believe in second chances for yourself and not for people who are not like you.

Christians should speak life and no be so quick to incarcerate and throw people in personal ideological death chambers. I question your humanity and I question your genuine concern for mankind, enlighten or ignorant.
Christians should no be quick to condemn, but quick to forgive.

The same God that has mercy for your elitist arrogance also has Michael Vick's errors in mind. I have a New Year's Resolution for you: resolve to think before you speak or just put a leash on your tongue altogether.

I read an article in Turningpoint Magazine about Brooklyn bred clothing designer, Karl Kani, way back in 2004. Kani went through a large court battle with a company called Skechers who want his company to go public and Karl refused to give up control of a company that he built. Karl has said that the experience made him realize that "Business is warfare and you've got to be prepared for battle at any moment to really stand for what you want".

I recently read a story in the Dallas Morning News llast week about a marine turned entrepreneur. I found the business article interesting and a few pointers stood out. The Marine Corps emphasizes 14 leadership traits, all of which can help you in warfare and in business:

•Dependability

The certainty of proper performance of duty.

•Bearing

Creating a favorable impression in carriage, appearance and personalconduct at all times.

•Courage

The mental quality that recognizes fear of danger or criticism, but enables a man to proceed in the face of it with calmness and firmness.

•Decisiveness
Ability to make decisions promptly and to announce them in clear, forceful manner.

•Endurance
The mental and physical stamina measured by the ability to withstand pain, fatigue, stress and
hardship.

•Enthusiasm

I'm Christian. I believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Light of Light. King of Kings. Lord of Lords. One Essence. The Way, The Truth, and The Light.

If we know anything about World and Church History, we know that Islamic people have a deep reverance for their beliefs. In Islamic countries, any disparaging comments against Islam could result in an instant and severe penalty, including death.

Burning Qurans on September 11th is not wise. It's not a smart idea. It can cause alot of problems in alot of countries for alot of years, decades, even scores of decades. It could incite a riot and violence.

As Christians, we don't have to believe in the Quran. We don't have to believe in any religion other than Christianity. Our faith is sufficient. We are not called to proselytise by force. We convert unbelievers with love. Love covers a multitude of sins.

Christians must be wise and pick our battles wisely.

I wonder if the church in Florida went out and bought Qurans to burn Qurans....It would be most prudent to just keep your money.

I'm working in an office environment again and I'm happen to be able to listen to music throughout the day. The sound card on my computer is either broken or needs to be reconfigured. The computer behind me has sound but it is distorted (sounds like the chimpmunks). I listened to a podcast yesterday and it was almost unbearable. Today I'm listening to music and it is much more tolerable. I'm chiming in on what I've heard several times about music...even when it has a slightly distorted sound...MUSIC IS THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE.

How to fight stereotypes

Set yourself apart. You don’t have to be like everyone else. Be different. Be bold. Be strong. Be courageous. Be informed. Be literate. Be progressive. Don’t let someone’s lower your bar. Keep your standards up high. Black people have a long history of winning through the most heinous of adversities.

Upon the celebration of Black History Month, it’s good to learn and reflect upon those that came before us and the trails that they blazed. There are examples all of progressive non stereotypical black people in every sector of business and life.

I am an artist. What motivates me is to be the best. To be different. I don’t want to what other artists have done. I want to do my own thing. I want to have my own style. My own voice. Yet I can learn from the past and present artists in various mediums.

I am Christian. I choose to be Christ like, of which is a driving force in my being. It’s is important that I adhere to the tenets of the faith wholeheartedly not passively.

I am a husband. I am a father. I am passionate about my family. I want to create a beautiful life for them. I want my children to be exposed to the very best that life has to offer. I want them to capitalize on every opportunity that fits their profile.

Thou Shalt Keep Art in Thy Stimulus Package

We are all wondering if this 2009 stimulus bill will work. Who knows? Only time will tell. I’m offended that so many critics are making negative and disparaging comments about the National Endowments of the Arts being included in the bill. Personally, I know a few artists that make their complete livelihood based upon contracts that with arts programs in schools and theatres that are funded by the NEA.

I’ll call the people that I’m referring to…my friends. My friends pay taxes (sales, income, and quarterly business taxes). My friends make car notes, mortgage payments, and fulfill daycare expenses. If that is not enough, my friends buy groceries, and other things that they need or want.

To cut off funding for these contracts would hurt collaborating artists who are dedicated to the arts industry.

We can’t forget about the non-creative people who have jobs in a creative environment. These people, I’ll also call them…my friends; pay taxes, make car payments, buy groceries, etc.

In my most humble opinion, the people that suffer the most when unsupported, under funded, and non-stimulated arts programs are the recipients. I’ll refer to these recipients as…. friends, family, supporters, and young undeveloped minds that could create a new and improved marketplace based upon a creative idea shared from a professional artist.

With full-time, full fledged creative professionals, art is not merely a hobby nor an extra-curricular activity. It is a gift, a calling, honest work, a service, and a product.

In closing, I am thankful for every museum, gallery, theatre, coffee shop, school, library, hall, centre, and venue that I’ve even once stepped foot in. My life has be stimulated and enriched by artist from the past as well as those forging ahead in new uncharted grounds.

Art will and shall be important in America.

I love credentials. I've always been impressed with people who go above and beyond. Success does not come easy to those that do not work hard, unless they have been working hard for so long that success becomes naturally.

As a photographer, I got lucky quick. I have no photographic credentials other than my experience. I've been able to grow by absorbing every book, magazine, website, and mentors.

I've volunteering and worked for other photographers for free or little or no much dinero. But I learned. And I continue to learn and to grow. I always look forward to my next shoot. The preparation that it takes to get ready for the next shoot is exciting. I can't imagine life without "Research and Development". I am fortunate to take photos of great lawyers in Richardson, Texas on the 10th floor of the Chase Building on Beltline Road. The view is amazing. In this photo, I wanted to capture the view of professionals discussing business matters in an environment that exudes first class.

I watched several different clips of the "John Kerry Questioner Arrested" at the University of Florida. I've read articles from AP, CNN, Usatoday, and the Presidential Address and Podcast from the President of the University and this is my response...

Whether you agree with his questions or not, Andrew Meyers has a right to ask A QUESTION. Senator Kerry was willing to entertain them. If questions can't be asked and answered in a college forum, especially when the only tangible weapon was a book (go figure...reading can help one to probe questions) then why invite John Kerry or anyone else to speak.

Another flavor of the spices in Gumbo entailed Q and his girlfriend/fiance/wife ,Candy, on an episode of Eye for an Eye with Kato Katlin. They argue, fuzz, and fight over a pregnancy or non-preggers while Q comments on the episode in a little circle at the bottom of the screen. At one point in the commentary, Q says, “Am I still under oath?”

This DVD will “Put you in the mindframe of Dave Chappell but on a lower budget. Dave is working with 3 million dollars, but we’re working with about $300.”

Check out my first short film. It is a segue into movie making utilizing the creative aspects of photography and poetry. The first time that I heard the song, immediately I knew that I had to make a movie to it.

This is a cool photo folks. I must say that it is one of my most creative shots to date. I attended the "Meeting meeting", the "Conference conference", the "Workshop workshop"...ok, I think that you get my drift.

MPI is Meetings Professionals International. The conference was held at the Dallas Convention Center. Very well attended. Very International. I was impressed by the signage. There was signage everywhere. Very professional. Very very eye-catching signs.

Imagine attending a conference that helps you put on bigger and better conferences. I was fortunate to attend the festivities...in short sporadic spurts of time.

Imagine cities from all over the world, marketing themselves to do business in their city. I wonder what commissions are like when one negoitates for an organization to come to their city and drop 1K to 1M into the city treasury spreadout through hotels, rails, resturants, and fine dining.

As I child, I remember telling an adult that one of my hobbies was attending 'conferences'...she kinda looked at me funny, but maybe she didn't see the event planning potential in me...as long as I can remember...I've always like conferences...I guess one could say that I'm very festive. That's part of my personality.

As I have grown and matured, I better understand the exchange, the ideas, the conversation, the competition, the comaradiere, and the effects that the right connection can have on your bottom line.

The company that I work for is in need of hosting that one or two breakthrough event that will distinquish us from other publications. I have a few ideas that I've shared. I have a few more that I'm going to share with professional event planners....and who knows what we will come up with...

For the better part of the 21st century, intellectuals, businessmen, and thinkers in our communities have been encouraging African Americans to do business with those that do business with us. General Motors was the first company to appoint an African American to its board of directors, The Reverend Dr. Leon Sullivan in 1971. GM adopted the Sullivan Principles for quality corporate code of conduct and citizenship.General Motors is an industry leader when it comes to diversity. For the past 12 years, GM has been the Title Sponsor of the Black Enterprise Entrepreneur’s Conference. GM honored Mr. Ronald E. Hall, President of Bridgewater Interiors, as the 2005 Supplier of the Year. Last year, GM spent 5.6 Billion with U.S.-based Minority Suppliers. Black Enterprise honored Mr. Greg Jackson, as the 2005 BE Dealer of the Year. The last weekend in April (30th), I went to the capital city Austin, Texas, for The Texas Auto Writer’s Association’s (TAWA) Annual Spring Challenge. This is a press event where automotive journalist from all over the state of Texas, as well as a few other places, come together and test drive the latest and greatest automobiles known to mankind. Next to Lake Travis on a beautiful sunshiny day, we convened across the street from the rebuilt Austin landmark restaurant, The Oasis. The driving route consisted of two moderate hills, four right turns, and a few curves lasting approximately 7 minutes for each car.

Out of the 60 available cars to drive in the press fleet, I drove a Mazda Speed6, BMW 330i, Kia Amanti, Mercury Milan, Ford Fusion, Lexus IS 350, Volvo C70, Range Rover HSE, Ford Five Hundred, Kia Rio5 SX, Buick Lucerne, Toyota Camry, Cadillac STS, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyndai Azera, Mercedez-Benz S550 and a Dodge Viper.

The winners for the 2006 Spring Challenge consist of: the Corvette Z06 for Writer’s Choice, the Jaguar XK for Best New Design, the Lexus GS 450H for Best Use of Technology, and the Volvo C70 for Most Innovative.

Personally, I was most impressed with the Mercedez-Benz S550. All in all, each respected vehicle offered the journalists something interesting to talk and write home about. For more photos, check out www.photo32.com.

She can communicate fluently from the plantation to the palace. Ms. Raphakumwah is ill-struck. She is stricken with the passions of loving too deeply, loving to strong, loving too intense. Love is her compassion, her discourse, and her thesis. One should hope that the ‘Heavens’ are listening so that “those who have never been loved well”…will…soon!!

Mercedez-Benz boasts a new V6 engine in the E320. The 3.5 liter V6 that produces 20 percent more power than the previous 3.2 liter V6 with no decrease in fuel mileage. The E320 is fast and luxurious. It can get up and go real quick, fast, and in a hurry. The big diesel engine feels like a V8.

The E320 is equipped with the latest innovative diesel technology, the E320 CDI asserts 201 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque, enough to propel the car to 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds. In late 1997, Mercedes-Benz debuted the world’s first diesel engine with CDI, which stands for common-rail direct injection. The first truly electronic fuel injection system for diesels, the CDI system instantly created a new paradigm for the diesel industry. Relying purely on the heat of highly compressed intake air to ignite the fuel, diesel engines operate without spark plugs or other ignition parts.

The E-class model standard model is the E350. The E320 CDI is identical to the E350. The distinction between the two is the common-rail direct injection turbodiesel engine.

Never fearful of innovated ideas, the E-Class is the first large-scale Mercedes-Benz model to make extensive use of aluminum. Aluminum, which accounts for 10 percent of the car by weight, is lighter than steel. Aluminum parts include the hood, front fenders, trunk lid, as well as the front subframe and bumper crossmembers.

All that one could think to and want to program is programmable with HomeLink buttons. HomeLink buttons are located on the bottom of the rearview mirror and can be programmed to control the owner’s property amenities: garage doors, gates, house lights, etc.

Standard safety features in the E-class include eight airbags, dual front airbags, side-impact airbags for front and rear passengers, and head protection curtains that run the length of the cabin on both sides.

The E320 runs on unleaded premium fuel or diesel. Fuel economy is 27 city/ 37 highway. Estimated annual fuel cost $1025. MSRP is $51,050. The E-class is the Mercedez-Benz’s best selling line worldwide and one of the best-selling models in the United States.
